Every server in the panel gets an Uptime tab. It is open to anyone who can access that server, so your customers see it without any setup from you.

What it shows

For the last 30 days:

  • How often the node that hosts the server answered.
  • How often the server itself was running.
  • A day by day chart of both.
  • The incidents that affected it.

It only reads aggregate numbers, and it shows nothing about any other server or about anyone else's data.

Why it helps

A customer whose server was off can see whether the node was the problem, and when. Many questions that would become a ticket answer themselves.

Maintenance and incidents

Time inside a maintenance window is shown as maintenance and does not count against uptime. Incidents are listed when they touched the node or the server.

Turning it off

The tab is on by default. To hide it, turn off Uptime tab on every server in Admin > Status Page > Settings > Customers and save. The tab disappears from every server's menu the next time the page loads, and its data is no longer served. The public status page is not affected, and the history keeps being recorded, so you can turn the tab back on at any time.
